This page contains a series or "Photo Indexes" of my vacation to Arizona
in October 99, I would like to take the opputunity to thank everyone there
for the warm welcome that made it such fun. Hope I can return the favour
to anyone who wants to pay me a visit. The images are quite small but will
send enlargements to anyone who wants them, just quote the name of it and
I will send them on.
Casa Grande Ruins
The Casa Grande (Big House)ruin is a three story house built during the Hohokam
times (AD300). Constucted of mud and juniper pine. The walls were 4 feet
thick, and although weathering has reduced the structure it is still amazing
to see.
Grand Canyon
The jewel in the crown of Arizona, all the hype is true it is one of the
most wonderful sites I have ever seen. The pictures do not do it any justice.
Little bit to easy to get to the edge of a mile drop for my liking but
still worth the trip up there, Wish I had a few days up there to explore.
