Hi and welcome to
my Casio calculator page. The programs
that I have written are all based
on use in an aerospace manufacturing
enviroment. The programs are aids
to the actual production on parts
and equipment or are used to help
checking the quality of the products
produced. The list below will contain
a discription of the program and
a link to view it. I will be adding
diagrams and formula to the "view" links
as soon as i can to help with explaining
the way the programs work. All the
programs on this page are also stored
in a single Zip file for downloading
at the bottom of the page. All the
programs are in the "*.cat" format
as that is how they are stored in
my calculator program on my computer.
I use the Casio Link program and
interface to load and edit all my
programs and I work on the assumption
that most you will do the same. I
have included the written program
for viewing to those without the
interface, so that they may copy
and write the programs directly into
their calculators.
Micrometer Over Radius Check
This program is for anyone who wants
to measure the distance from an internal
diameter to an outside face or outside
diameter using a standard micrometer.
Just input the micrometer spindle diameter,
the internal diameter over which you
are measuring and the program will
give you the amount you need to sudtract
from the micrometer reading to get
the correct dimension.

Area of a Circle
Just a simple program working out
the area of a circle. All you need
to do is enter the radius of the circle
at the prompt.
View
Bolt Circle
This is one of my favourite programs.
Works out all the X Y polar positions
on a given circle for when your drilling
holes for fixtures. Just input the
number of holes and the radius of the
circle.
View
Circumference of a Circle
Another simple program that works
out the circumference of any given
circle.
View
Hickyball
This is a very simple program
that takes values for A, B, and
C and plugs them into the quadratic
formula to give you the two roots.
Believe me, you'll use it more
than you think.
View
Inclusive Angle
This program is used to calculate
the slip height required to cuta
cone or chamfer on a lathe for
any given inclusive angle. The
slips are used with a 5" sine bar.
View
Least material Condition Tolerance's
for Holes and Boss's
These programs are very handy
to any quality inspector. Just
input the actual hole or boss sizes
of the part produced, together
with the drawing sizes and tolerance's.
The program works out the total
positional tolerance available
for the holes or boss's in a LMC
tolerance.

Maximum Material Condition Tolerance's
for Holes and Boss's
Same as the LMC programs above,
but for MMC tolerance's. Just input
the actual hole or boss sizes of
the part produced, together with
the drawing sizes and tolerance's.
The program works out the total
positional tolerance available
for the holes or boss's in a MMC
tolerance.

Over Ball Check
Using a hickey ball to check the
intersection in a chamfer is common
practice in engineering. Input
the ball diameter and the inclusive
angle of the chamfer and the program
will give the dimension over the
top of the ball when the intersection
is at the correct depth.
View
Pitch Circle Marking Out
If you want to mark out the positions
of a series of holes on a given
circle this is the program for
you. Just input the Diameter of
the circle and the numerer of holes
and it will calculate the length
required for your marker or scribing
rod.
View
Radial Feed Conversion
This is also based on an FST basic
program. You will have to supply
the function and adjust the randomization
accordingly, as follows:
For the Ran# sent to X or Y, for
a domain between -a and a, use
(2aRan#-a), and for a domain between
0 and a, use aRan#. Other ranges
can be specified with a bit of
paperwork, but those two are the
most common and are used in this
example.
View
Radial Cutout Calculation
The classic game where you try
to guess a number and the "host" tells
you if the correct answer is higher
or lower. This keeps track of your
stats over many games until you
exit.
View
Rake Angle of Tooling
Enter two values, and this program
calculates the exact probability
of a number falling in that range.
Another simple timesaver. SD MODE
NOTE: The R( comes from the PQR submenu)
View
Calculating minimum number of
slips required for a given Height
An icon interface for programs.
There are several calls for other
programs in this one, so make sure
that they correspond with the right
program on yours as they do in
this page.

Temperature Conversion
Inputs the coefficiants for each
term and the power to take the
binomial to, then gives the coefficients
of the expanded polynomial.
